Entanglements features urban photos from Japan, Thailand, and Australia, highlighting colour, confusion and abstraction. Sites of potential transformation include malls, streets, a display cabinet, an old railcar, and a sports complex. Mark can’t recall what one photo is of, but suggests that what it has become is probably more important. 

Born in Upper Hutt, Mark has lived in Australia, the United Kingdom, Vanuatu, India and Fiji. His work has been shown in India, Nepal, China and Aotearoa New Zealand.
