Alice Toomer’s photorealistic paintings explore the quiet intimacy of everyday scenes with a sense of reverence and emotional depth.
Her practice has recently moved beyond food to embrace broader domestic rituals—handwashing laundry, flossing over the bathroom sink, morning light on a cup of tea. Using rich colour and cinematic compositions, Alice suspends moments in time, revealing their beauty and elevating the ordinary. Her acrylic paintings speak to care, comfort, and the grounding rhythms of home.
