Suzanne Lustig’s work embraces spontaneity and exploration, using materials such as Indian ink, oil pastels and acrylic to create tactile, textured compositions that evolve through a dynamic negotiation between artist and medium.

Born in the Netherlands, Suzanne studied graphic design at The Hague’s Royal Academy of Arts before transitioning to illustration and painting. After living in Aotearoa for ten years, she now divides her time between here and the Netherlands, where she draws creative inspiration from European movements like COBRA, known for their celebration of artistic freedom and spontaneity.

Suzanne Lustig is represented by Twentysix Gallery.
