Twentysix Gallery is pleased to present Carlos Knight’s first solo show, ‘Traffic Island’. Through both humour and attentiveness, Carlos’s practice responds to the sculptural potential within the shared urban and domestic environments he moves through daily, allowing found materials and human traces to steer him.

Working with retired objects, he acts on moments of curiosity that surface when form and function misalign; his interventions intentional yet transformative. A doorway split into conversation, a fence bent into a slouch, each gesture playful, existing between control and chance, where objects are reassembled and made resonant.

‘Traffic Island’ presents Carlos Knight’s makings as the recipient of the 2025 Collin Post Memorial Scholarship in Sculpture. An exhibition essay by Elvis Booth-Claveria accompanies the show.

The exhibition runs from 18 – 23 November 2025, with an opening celebration on Tuesday, 18 November at 5.30pm, sponsored by Behemoth Brewing.

Extended opening hours:
Tuesday-Friday 12–6pm
Saturday-Sunday 10am–4pm
