Simple Cells is a collective exhibition of fine art, conceptual video, design and spoken word exploring the concept of body in a post lockdown, modern world.
The body is an ephemeral entity, yet our individual experiences are limitless; memory traverses time and place, selfhood has many faces, and for 300,000 years our ancestors have been replenishing cells, carrying proteins, cross pollinating and firing billions of neurons across their brains - so we can be here today.
‘Simple Cells’ is a celebration and reflection of all the things that make us human.
